The Japanese room was spacious and the hotel staff were friendly throughout my stay. I appreciated being able to store my luggage before and after check-in. The hotel's location was convenient, with two supermarkets nearby and it was within walking distance of the train station which allowed me to easily access the Sagano Scenic Railway. the public bathhouse was a nice touch and I enjoyed experiencing a traditional Japanese bath.
While the food was decent for the price, I did find it to be lacking in variety. It would have been nice to have more options available.

Got a package deal with a vast Japanese room and buffet meals. We had ample space to maneuver around. Neighbors were helpful and kind. Plus, it was walking distance to public transportation and two grocery stores.
The bathroom was somewhat puzzling. There were a large tub and a shower, but it appeared outdated and worn.
